In reality it is three small travel within one month starting from Rosario.
The first trip was in Victoria (Entre Ríos). The town still retains a colonial appearance and is famous for its windows with grates work artistically. It is worthwhile to go to Rosario through the delta of the Paraná (about 57 km from one bank to another).
The second was to Iguazú. Unfortunately, given the short time that was accompanying me, we took an organized package. Good service but I am more fun to organize the trip on time. The hotel was in Foz (Brazil), and quite beautiful with a good service but Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) is far more charming and lively. We have been lucky because the Iguazú (Guaraní: The water, guazú great) was at a time of major water and sunny weather has enabled us to enjoy all the jumps. Council at the Argentine going catamaran (150 pesos: 1 euro = 4, 32 pesos) in the San Martín and jump down to a piece of river. Really exciting and fun. The Garganta del Diablo c'é'poco to say, alone is worth the trip. Before this show comes from thinking about what you wrote Galeano, recreating the arrival of Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca to the Garganta. "Kneel and said: Lord, after having passed the Desert of Death, America crossed a half, now I know that the purpose of my life was to get here." Single emotion. Even the Brazilian is very beautiful and panoramic. Admission is differentiated: the foreigners pay more of the premises: A. 40 pesos and B more or less.
The third was to Salta, absolutely non-organized trip. After 16 hours of travel (194 pesos from Rosario), we tried to sleep and we found just 200 meters from Piazza del Cabildo (the old City Hall): 100 pesos double. A Casona Colonial with three bedrooms and patios that give on patios, very nice, as is Skip. We rented a car (160 pesos per 200 km per day, 180 for 400 and 195 kmtraggio unlimited). Have accepted the Italian driving license. The first tour was in the Quebrada of Humahuaca (cultural and natural heritage of humanity by UNESCO). Agrees to same Jujuy to do the old road is all curves, but worth it. Going to the north look to the left is so back. The sun against the mountains makes it the background color: orange, green, blue, violet, yellow, gray. And then the poplars, the willows, the cactus, one of the most beautiful of the Andes I've seen (I know that the Chilean, Peruvian and Patagonia). The first village is Purmamarca, despite an air keeps the tourists away from the colonial time and has a beautiful church: small but clean in its lines. Vale la pena, during the trip to look around because there are several towns with colonial features, worth a stop Tilcara with Pucara (Inca lookout post), all the rest of the towns were put on the path dell'Inca from Peru to Mendoza. The next day we went to Cafayate Quebrada by the same name, formed by mountains, red shapes more strange. From there we made the valleys Calchaquí (name of Indians of the place in reality is a Quechua name, they call themselves Diaguitas). Across the gravel road for 90 km around two hours. We stopped at Molinos that a beautiful church in style cuzqueño. The mountains are different from those seen previously. At 17 km from Cachi was broken and the car we had to wait for help from Salta. But Skip is about 63 km dirt and mountain: 5 hours of waiting. We have done the rest of the journey in the dark. However I can say (to have made the journey in another country trip that is very nice, clean and maintains a beautiful colonial atmosphere and the way to Salta is spectacular. Even those towns were placed dell'Inca of the way, I forgot: l ' Indian crafts (but I call it art) is very beautiful. Again: Purmamarca a way we pass the Tropic of Capricorn. Dali, we went to Paraná, city nell'800 sort, but has a view on previlegiata Paraná, its delta: ne takes another when it encounters the Uruguay River and form the Rio della Plata. E 'can go on the islands. Just 12 of controfesteggiamento was the discovery of America: Indians Argentine, Paraguayan, Uruguay and Brazil travel the city playing drums: that we raise the ground. In Argentina there are many 'more Indian than many people think: 1 every 40 inhabitants (most of Brazil) and at least 56% keep an Indian ancestor. The europeicitá in Argentina is a distortion of reality created by the good company of Buenos Aires. BS AS I was disappointed. There were an infinite number of times but now is a Bolgia between dance and sing tango, side by side there is nothing capisce'piú, even Plazoleta Cortázar (Palermo) has lost its charm. Anyway around San Telmo, avoiding tourists, is still fascinating.
