A journey to the Easter Island by Daniele Somenzi
Easter Island
We land and I giuseppe Mysterious Island, from Santiago, Chile on Lan Chile Boeing 767. about 4 hours flight, we are in the middle of the Pacific. here are not afraid of the tsunami, the beaches are not there, they are all on high ground from the sea, and few people are safe. It is not to say that this island is the mythical Pacific island with Polynesian lagoons and beautiful beaches, none of this.
the great big face and two volcanoes are the only two attractions. Joseph and I rented a car and turn the island made a triangle with a single gas station. We sleep in a hut hostello model, but with all the comforts, ie 2 beds bathroom with shower and a roof over their head.
Walking through the village we see that load large tuna fishermen on the pickup to take him to the fish market.
The big heads are many around the island and having heard so much about, here they are, true, in front of me.
Probably not come back to this island, not that I really liked, however I am happy to have been there at least once a hello
