The trip to Peru in freedom is an experience that marks all his life.

How can one forget the bright colors of this nation great? Switch from rocky desert of the Andes emerald green, the islands of Lake timeless Titikaka, populated by beautiful people who will remain forever in memory.
It 'a journey that teaches more than a Master's degree, I swear.

What about Lima? It 'an ancient city and modern straordianriamente active, is not as dangerous as the paint tourist guides and there is absolutely no need to immediately put to flight by one of the most touristic Cuzco.
The capital is fun and all parts of the city has its own atmosphere and its attractions: Miraflores, the most mundane, San Isidro with its museums, Barranco, the village a bit 'bohemian artists and the old town, where buildings colonial interval beautiful cathedrals and colorful promenades.
advice .. Vivistar Lima and not run away!

Pisco-Paracas-Ballestas Islands
Pisco is reached from Lima in a few hours bus ride, the city actually is very bare and ugly and when you go from the middle one is attacked by a crowd of hotel owners waiting for new customers. Tranquilli, climb into a taxi and we leave you in Plaza de Armas, from here you can choose from only the best solution.
We have been lucky enough to find a boarding house comfortable and clean, very nice run by two brothers who have illuminated the typical Peruvian dances (the festejo and seafaring) letting us see dozens of their videos .. then .. because the earthquakes were frequent .. have begun to make us drink the chicha morada and the Pisco sour distraction.
From Pisco we reserve seats for trips away by boat to the Ballestas Islands to observe the sea lions, if you choose the tour soon lose the beauty of the desert of Paracas, which is beautiful .. Therefore, another board .. choose the full tour!

Arequipa-Colca Valley
The journey from Pisco to Arequipa by bus line is endless !!!!! And besides our bus broke down halfway forcing us to spend hours and hours waiting. Patience, these things happen!
Arequipa in return is a dream! An entire city built with white stone, quiet, cool and surrounded by volcanoes. A must see the Monastery of Santa Catalina (which is a city within a city) and leave for the beautiful Valle del Colca. There are no words to describe the charm of this place ... the sky has some incredible colors and you can see close Lama, Alpaca and Vicuna .. the scenery is panic! You can relax in the spa waters at Chivay and stroll in its colorful market. The people are wonderful and their smiles will dig soul for days and months ...

Cuzco-Machu Picchu-Pisac
El Cuzco is the heart of the Inca Empire, centuries of Spanish rule and now decades of mass tourism is not enough to erase his mysterious charm and magic. To be missed: The Cathedral (inside is indescribable .. looks like a wax museum! The statues of the saints are dressed in robes and precious baroque altars are filled with massive decorations, mirrors and gold ... never seen such opulence all together! !)
Then .. Starting with a taxi at the time of Saxsauaman, an ancient Incan city, then visit Puca Pucara costra in the Andes with one stone rose, and before leaving, Fuente del Inka, the source of magic.

With an expensive ticket from Cuzco in Peru Rail is reached Macchu Picchu, one of the new 7meraviglie of the World. You can get to Machu Picchu is only with this super expensive train or by engaging with days of trekking in the countryside. Experience that we have excluded because of rain and altitude sickness (the altitude sickness that I have reduced a rag from Arequipa onwards).

Before leaving from Cuzco, we must make a jump to the market of Pisac, a picturesque and full of life. The ideal is to take the second bus and live this experience with the locals who make the shows "real ones" and not the craft to be carried in a suitcase. The Peruvian people are incredible in their eyes is an unparalleled sweetness and a great respect for every race and culture, are adorable!

Puno-Lake Titikaka and Islands
A trip to the Titikaka, now the altitude sickness is just a memory and you only protects against sunburn, which at this altitude do not forgive!
From Puno with a boat you can go to Las Islas Uros Flotantes by habitat, but the most incredible experience is to spend a whole day adopted by a family on the island of Amantani, where, for environmental protection is not possible build hotel (thankfully!) and you can stay on the island only if local families are in agreement nell'affitarti a room of their house. I keep a wonderful memory of them all who have welcomed me into their homes and their hearts, are beautiful people .. I never tire of repeating it! The last evening before leaving the noodles have cooked together .. they gave me so much, why not reciprocate by leaving a memory dellla our culture?

It 'time to leave Peru .. the journey continues in Bolivia ... See story "The city with the most beautiful name in the world" ..

Go in Peru .. There really is a journey that changes your life, you do so many questions and you work on yourself, you return changed .. Seeing is believing.
