The story

!!! SINGAPORE!!!

During the 4 days we spent visiting Singapore, we never stopped wandering around, seeing and doing interesting and fascinating things!

During the day we visited Taoist, Hindu and Buddhist temples and the Muslim mosque... All these religions coexist (peacefully?) alongside a Catholic minority that is also present in this city-state.

We went from the sacred to the profane, plunging into the mega shopping malls on Orchard Road, but actually almost everywhere, in what is considered the favourite destination of Asians for shopping.

We went to the ocean park, where we were able to stroke and feed the manta rays (a unique experience).

We relaxed (5 minutes, right Demè?) in the botanical garden, where there are, among others, 3000 species of orchids.

We then visited the classic tourist spots such as the Merlion on Sentosa island, the Raffles hotel in the centre, and Chinatown for cheap little gifts:)

And then at night... a spectacle of skyscraper lights such as I had only seen in Hong Kong.

And what about the Night Safari? One of the few zoos in the world open at night, so you can observe the animals in a different light (or rather: without light!).

If you're thinking of going to Singapore, give yourself at least a week, because the place is worth every bit of it!!

Bye! Flaminio Bizzotti.
