A weekend on the Paganella plateau

A weekend on the Paganella, hoping to find a bit of cool. We stayed at the hotel Montana in Fai della Paganella. Around there, from Andalo (a very beautiful and typical little village) you can go up by cable car to Doss Pelà and from here various trails branch off. After about an hour of very easy dirt road you arrive at the Bait de Germano, with a beautiful view and also a nice menu on offer. From Pradel (above Lake Molveno) you can instead go up by a chairlift (very battered and dated....and the car park underneath is small and expensive, a good 8€) towards the Croz de l'Altissimo, where you can also find more challenging walks. Lake Molveno is very beautiful, but we found the days too hot.
