The story

A travelling trip by 4x4 to discover a part of this splendid country, setting off from Muscat the capital and then reaching Nizwa, passing through the Wahiba sands and then reaching the coast at Ras al Hadd, nesting place of the green turtles, and following it as far as Sur, where the famous dhows are still built. Finally visiting the beautiful Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab and lastly returning to Muscat to admire the beautiful Grand Mosque, the characteristic fish market at Mutrah, the Sultan's palace, the corniche and the very lively souk. Trip undertaken with a tour operator, a group of 25 people plus 4 local drivers divided into 6 Toyota jeeps. Total cost of the trip (including the stopover in Istanbul) about € 2250
