Australia, 15 days are certainly not enough to visit this country. So why not stay for a year (or thereabouts?). That's what I thought and what I'm doing! Since February I've been in Australia and right now I'm in Brisbane where I'll look for work. In the meantime I've travelled around practically this whole big island: from Sydney and the opera house, to Melbourne and Phillip Island, from the Great Ocean road to Kangaroo Island, from the Nullarbor plain to the South West (where I worked for a couple of months, picking olives!), from Perth to Exmouth and the Ningaloo Reef, from Karijini N.P. to the Pinnacles desert, from Byron Bay to Fraser Island, from the splendid Whitsundays to the boundless Great Barrier Reef, from Cape Tribulation and the rain forest to Uluru and the Kata Tjuta, from Alice Springs to Coober Pedy...
in short, over 20000 km travelled, between bus, train, hitchhiking and rented vans (go big Jim!). And now I'm waiting to find a job and then set off again to discover Darwin and the Top End. All the detailed diaries of this crazy year wandering around Australia are waiting to be read on my blog
