Udon Thani offers nothing except a good lunch at McDonald's and some magic tricks in a shopping centre, after which we take refuge in our “chalet” by the little artificial lake to enjoy a bacon sandwich and a wonderful tropical fruit salad. It's time to go to sleep, tomorrow a long day awaits us! We turn the page completely!

15.01.2012 Phuket (THAILAND)

Here we are in the famous Phuket after a comfortable flight of about an hour! This is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Thailand but we will use it only as a stopover towards what will be our true destination: the paradise of Koh Lanta!

16.01.2012 Koh Lanta (THAILAND)

[Stefy]: “We left Phuket at 08.30 by boat and after a stop in the even more famous Koh Phi Phi, we land in the wonderful Koh Lanta. We stay at the Coral Beach Resort, the bungalows look directly onto the beach. Waking up to the sweet sound of the sea, having breakfast with an excellent mango accompanied by tasty bananas on the thatched veranda… well, that's priceless! This place is truly relaxing. Along the beach there are several open huts, hammocks where you can swing in the shade of huge coconut palms… after three and a half months on the road you need to stop a little to recharge your batteries, do a bit of laundry, calmly organise the next stages.”
